Soul-Led Sessions That Connect You Back To You

Where the journey began:

Yoga found me at the age of 7 but It wasn't until I was 17 that my knowledge of the practice deepened. I was in remission from cancer, during treatment and navigating a leg reconstruction, Yoga became my anchor - teaching me to reconnect with my soul, through and beyond my body, find strength, and quite literally, walk again. It showed me that even in our most challenging moments, we can find power in silence, through real connection to ourselves, with movement, meditation and self love.

Coming back to the motherland:

I was pulled to learn and discover more, journeying back to the motherland, India,  the roots of Yoga, where I spent a transformative year traveling across India, deepening my yogic practices, exploring sound healing and Ayurveda, while tending to my roots here.  

I trained in Traditional Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, committing to discovering yoga beyond the physical practice, embodying the philosophy and understanding how this can be shared authentically to everyone. 

 

I discovered the powerful vibrations of Tibetan Sound Healing in the Himalayas, experiencing firsthand how sound can shift our energy and bring us back to balance.

 

Along the way, I facilitated retreats, specifically Guided Meditations, Yoga and Yoga Nidra with Sound Healing. 

These moments showed me just how transformative and impactful these practices can be when shared authentically.

​​​Sharing ancient wisdom:

While I was soaking up all this traditional wisdom, I kept thinking about how important spaces like this are needed in the UK. A space for deep connection, non-judgement, healing and creativity. 

 

UMA:

A ceremonial space created for you to experience calm, stillness, rest & relaxation. Bridging two worlds - sharing the beauty of traditional Indian practices with a world that needs more calm.

UMA creates sacred moments of ceremony. Our sessions are ceremonies, weaving together holistic elements of wellness.

Through the gentle flow of breath, mindful movement, ethereal soundscapes, artistic expression, and the ancient wisdom of tea ceremonies. Every experience is a gateway to discover your natural state of balance, strength, and inner peace.
